Library and Learning Spaces Image Gallery

With changes in technology, collection formats, learning styles and student expectations, university libraries continue to be one of the best-used learning facilities within their communities.

The Library and Learning Spaces Image Gallery presents images of some of the bold and creative library spaces being designed to meet the visions and diverse needs of Australian and New Zealand academic communities.  The Gallery also includes resources for library space planning and video clips of recently completed and forthcoming library and learning spaces.

We acknowledge the contributions of everyone who has shared images that reflect the vibrant changes in academic library design in recent years.

Further contributions of images or video clips of new academic library buildings and spaces can be sent to Bob Gerrity (r.gerrity@library.uq.edu.au) together with the name of the architect, date of the project, copyright and permissions and contact details for further information. For suggested resources for library space planning, visit this page.
